For anyone interesting in indie game development, rapid prototyping, experimental concepts or just making games in general; game jams are the ideal event to participate in. Held over a predetermined time period, in our case a little less than 48 hours; the aim of the event is to form groups and produce interesting games to present on the final day.
Anyone can attend JamIT, regardless of your skill set. We have artists, programmers, designers, writers, composers, jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none people and some who think they can’t do anything, but come along with enough enthusiasm to get stuck in and try new things. If you’re interested in making games, come along and you will find a team and a place.
Hosted by PlayIT, a student organization at the IT University of Copenhagen dedicated to improving the play community at the University and throughout Copenhagen; JamIT is intended to unite all the games-interesting people throughout ITU, from bachelors students to Games masters alumni and bring our community together.
